Ginger wandered up to a friendly home, hungry and looking for a warm dry place to rest. She is a very gentle, sweet natured 5 year old Hound. We believe she is an American Fox Hound. Ginger is spayed and in very good health. She is very gentle with a great disposition and adores being hugged and petted by children and adults. As with all dogs, a regular exercise program is needed and lots of love. Ginger has a keen sense of smell and loves to follow her noise when on her walks. She just loves her walks, but also enjoys lounging in a nice soft doggy bed with a chew toy. She keeps her kennel area clean. Ginger is house trained and has very good house manners. We prefer to adopt to famlies with children over the age of 5 years so that they too can help care for the dog. Ginger is very easy going and polite around other dogs but does not like to share,and would prefer to be the only family pet. All of our dogs are adopted as family pets and not as outside dogs. No electric fences please.
